In 2023, we began building AxisNow, Founded by cybersecurity serial entrepreneurs Andy Ong and James Hu. Dedicated to build a Workload Secure Edge. Help any size of enterprise unleash productivity and reshape non-human access.

We believe that open platforms and excellent user experience will have a huge positive impact. And an excellent cyber security solution also needs to consider performance, availability, and reliability.

We are just getting started as a member company of ICE71, an incubator headquartered in Singapore that was established by Singtel Innov8, the venture capital arm of Singtel Group, and NUS Enterprise, the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore. Currently, we have over 10 startup team members working remotely from Singapore and various locations around the world. We're hiring dreamers and doers to make all of this possible！

What you'll do

Joining our founding team to create the WSE (Workload Secure Edge) new product with a group of passionate and talented engineers. We utilize all the latest technologies to ensure its scalability and availability.

This position is eligible for stock options

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge, and experience

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience in developing and deploying large-scale systems using high-performance languages such as Go, Java, or others
• Proficient knowledge of Linux systems
• Expert skills in programming
• Excitement for optimizing complex solutions for general problems faced by all websites
• Experience with continuous integration workflows and using source code control (we use Git)
• Experience (and passion) in debugging to ensure system functionality in all scenarios
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese

Bonus points:

• Solid foundation in server-side programming, with experience in high-performance server programming, optimization, and architectural design
• Experience or strong desire to learn Lua, Rust, or Go
• Experience in handling large C/C++ projects
• Experience using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with network servers/reverse proxy systems such as NGINX, Apache, Varnish, OpenResty, Kong, or Apisix
